Located just outside of Estes Park, Colorado and set amongst the Rocky Mountains, the Lodge is a wonderful place to work for those who enjoy the outdoors! We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, driven, customer service-oriented staff who will appreciate the opportunity to live and work in a magnificent setting.
Paid, work exchange, fulltime, part time and seasonal positions are available.
Our Work Exchange Program offers participants shared accommodations and three meals a day in exchange for 30 hours a week of work. All meals here are locally focused and organic, and are served with a vegetarian, vegan and gluten free option.
All available positions are eligible for the exchange program. Scheduling is flexible depending on the particular position applied for. Employees are expected to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Supervisory roles available in some departments.
Front Desk Staff:
Must be personable and have great communication skills. Will provide guests with exceptional service and assist them with all needs related to their stay.
Must be organized and possess high attention to detail. Must have knowledge of and experience with general maintenance tasks. Must have sufficient mobility to perform the job well and be able to lift about 30 lbs.
Must be organized, possess high attention to detail and be able to work quickly, yet effectively. Must have sufficient mobility to perform the job well and be able to easily move the housekeeping cart (about 20lbs).
Recreation Center Personnel:
This is a great position for those who love the outdoors and helping guests enjoy the outdoors as much as you do. First Aid certification is required, with knowledge of fishing and other various sports and activities. Applicant must work well unsupervised and have an innovative drive and passion to create new programs and revise existing ones. Must have some experience/knowledge to perform related maintenance, such as minor bike repairs.
Restaurant Bartenders, Servers and Banquet Servers:
Must be reliable, energetic, outgoing and driven. Previous experience is necessary. Knowledge of wines is a plus. Must be 21 years old.
Applicant must have a background in horsemanship, guided group rides and experience with driving drafts. Duties will include and are not limited to feeding, cleanup and trail maintenance.
