Biking

The area surrounding Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa offers a wide variety of biking options to suit every level of fitness, whether a ride through Estes Park or nearby Rocky Mountain National Park! You can have a bicycle experience that’s only available though Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa.

Horseback Riding

We offer horseback rides from one hour to an all day adventure, wagon and sleigh rides, sunrise breakfasts and cowboy suppers for a true Western experience.

Swimming

Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa offers a large outdoor swimming pool from June to September. Since Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa is located up in the beautiful and always breezy Rocky Mountains, we keep our pool heated for our guests.

Wagon Rides

The Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa runs horse drawn wagon rides year-round through our picturesque evergreen forests. Our wonderful Belgian draft horses will whisk you away though the woods on your very own alpine adventure.

Hiking

Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa offers several different hikes to suit your needs and experience level. Options include an easy Twilight hike to enjoy a Rocky Mountain sunset with your whole family, or join us on one of our daily scheduled guided hikes available through the summer season.

Tai Chi & Message

After that long hike or horse ride, enjoy a therapeutic massage at the Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa in your room or in our massage room. A local Nationally Certified therapist will work out the kinks for you so you can be relaxed and revitalized for your next adventure.

Winter & Spring Activities

Sleigh & Wagon Rides

Enjoy a romantic sleigh or wagon ride complete with champagne or hot chocolate followed by a delicious dinner by the fireplace. Our wonderful Belgian horses, complete with sleigh bells, will whisk you away though the woods on your very own alpine adventure.

Ice Skating & Ice Hockey

Ice skating and ice hockey are two things to do at Aspen Lodge Resort & spa on your winter vacation! Imagine yourself gliding effortlessly across a mirrored surface in the Rocky Mountains near Estes Park. The lake at Aspen Lodge Resort & spa is surrounded by spectacular mountains and snow covered trees.

Skiing & Snowshoeing

Spend a day skiing or snowshoeing on Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa's own trails or in adjacent Rocky Mountain National Park. Rocky Mountain National Park has hundreds of miles of summer hiking trails. In the winter, most of these are accessible for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
